Can we shop ethically?
When we buy organic or fair – trade food, the benefits are obvious- it’s healthier, it tastes better and we know we are helping producers earn a decent wage. We love the feel good factor that we are supporting our local farmer. So why is it practically impossible to get consumers to shop for fashion locally, let alone ethically?

Know before you go – get online and do your research before you go out to buy.
- Buy less cheap fashion- Seen a nice top for €5 – think about where it was made, who made it and under what conditions.
- Always ask yourself whether the product is organic, renewable or recycled? Recycle all the clothes you already own.
So without dampening the great feeling when we bag a bargain (especially in the great January Sales), just think twice before you pull out the credit card and make sure the bargain is one we and the planet can live with.
